The authors flux capacitor produces an scalar magnetic field comprised of magnetic vector potential A. Flux capacitors are best suited for lunar microspacecraft propulsion. Magnetic potential A is used to calculate magnetic field strength H and displacement currents.� This device is configured to violate the conservation of momentum per Qichang Liang: "Experimental Evidence of Energy Non-Conservation" .Hollow Tubes created by nonmagnetic metal causes magnets to drop slower than the pull of gravity due to Lenz law (fluxuating H fields), see video: "If Aluminum Isn't Magnetic does it Do Anything Interesting?" .Therefore, nonmagnetic metal capacitor plates (ie aluminum, etc) exposed to magnetic fields is expected to increase electromotive force (EMF) in the air gap to push his device. Here is another example: US5514926.� The electromotive force needs to be directed in the same direction when the AC field reverses direction to move his device. His patented configuration is needed for that. The author explains how that occurs in his book. The video "If Aluminum Isn't Magnetic" proves that aluminum can become magnetised momentarily (fluxuating H field) to move it under the Einstein-de Haas effect when exposed to a MRI's extreme magnetic field. It does not work without fluxuating magnetic fields fluxuating charge acceleration & fluxuating radiation (Lenz law applies) in the coils. High steady currents do not accelerate or emit radiation. The surface area of the capacitors are very large. The capacitors are charged with fluxuating electric fields. This is supported by Qichang Liang: "Power Generator Based on Asymmetrical Mutual Inductivity" .He used multiple devices to rotate a disk. Qichang Liang supports this: "Novel Technology of Electric Propulsion" .You will have to purchase the book for detailed circuit operation.

Holy Macro - Its 2500 "Not Very Good" examples

I was actually quite disappointed with this CD and wished I hadn't purchased this at all. I previously purchased Bill Jelen's VBA live lessons and thought it was the best tutorial that I had seen. A lot of VBA books and instructions go from very simple, how to loop or how to reference a cell to advanced code that is very difficult to follow which is hard to replicate for you own use. This was the first time that I had seen an instructional video that gave useful examples and explained the logic behind the process. I am also a subscriber to MrExcel and ExcelifFun which are excellent. This is why I was so shocked that this CD was so poor.

These examples in "Holy Macro" looked to be very old and often use code that by Bill Jelen's mouth, should never use like the looping method of using Loop - Wend. When I received the CD, I spent about an hour looking through the examples to see if there was something I could possibly use, or use the logic to adapt the code to my work. Unfortunately I was disapointed with the whole layout and probably wont insert the CD into my computer again.

Once bitten twice shy so will be very careful when buying my next purchase.

I did not expect what was in the disk when i received it. it is amazing. you have got whatever code you need. Now having this product, i do not have to google and search for customized VBA codes, i have got all i need. just to highlight that this product helps if you are familiar with knowledge on how to use VBA. otherwise for complete beginner they have to first learn VBA then they can find this product useful.

His current research interests are electromagnetic theory, microwave remote sensing, waves in anisotropic media, antennas and propagation. He was a Research Fellow at Naval Air Development Center, Rome Air Development Center and Naval Research Laboratory and was an Invited Visiting Professor at Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea. He has received the Eta Kappa Nu Outstanding Undergraduate Teacher Award (1999), the IEEE Third Millennium Medal (2000), and the College Educator of the Year Award from the Technology Alliance of Central New York (2002).

Arlon T. Adams (Ph.D., University of Michigan) was a professor emeritus in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Syracuse University, where he taught and conducted research in electromagnetics for many years, focusing on antennas and microwaves. He served as electronics officer in the U. S. Navy and worked as an engineer for the Sperry Gyroscope Company. He was a Life Fellow of the IEEE from which institution he received eight prize paper and achievement awards. He was a Fulbright Scientist in Yugoslavia, a visiting scholar at Berkeley, and was general chairman of the 1988 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society /URSI International Symposium at Syracuse, New York."

I am sincere in saying that I very much enjoyed reading this textbook from cover to cover. I believe that this textbook is best used as an undergraduate text and/or perhaps a one semester course taught at the freshman graduate level in an electrical engineering department. Dr. Lee and Dr. Adams have done a wonderful job of explaining the intimate tie between electric and magnetic fields in an extremely digestible manner.

I believe that this textbook is also the most well suited textbook on the "fundamentals of electromagnetism" that I have found (comparing with Wangsness, Griffiths, Ulbay which I have also read cover to cover) which could be readily used as a self-study text. There are a plethora of examples which aid in solving the problems at the end of each chapter.

Another aspect of this text which I liked very much was that it follows an inductive approach rather than a deductive (historical) approach, and YET the text is filled with very interesting historical details and short biographies of scientists who had a significant contribution to the field of electromagnetism.

There are very few technical errors in this text.

One error which is worth noting, because it appears in so many electromagnetism textbooks is that the potential gauge transformation should be credited to "Ludvig Lorenz" NOT "Hendrik Lorentz"!! Though the Lorenz gauge is in fact Lorentz invariant, it should be recognized that these are two entirely different concepts from two entirely different people!

This book has succeeded to provide the necessary foundation for electrical engineers to understand electromagnetics. The early chapters on electrostatics and magnetostatics are unique. The fundamental laws of nature governing electric and magnetic fields are explained in a very easy to digest way.
The part I like the most is how the concepts of polarization and magnetization of dielectric and magnetic materials are introduced. Those concepts are put in a way which paves the road for more advanced courses in the field without any self contradiction that might arise. This is something that is far from being easy but the authors in this book has really succeeded in doing so.
The formatting of the book is very comforting for the eye and the figures are so clear despite being monochromatic. This is a very important feature that I like to have in a text book as compared to a reference.
The summaries provided in the tables make the necessary information very handy.

So funny!

This book is so funny! I originally bought it only for the knitting recipes, but I almost can't put it away since it has me giggling constantly and I even giggle while watching the show now since I remember stuff from the book.
If you're really interested in the knitting recipe for the white and black sweater the one in this book is of course not the same as the original, and it's not knitted in the round either, but it's still a beautiful sweater.
This does contain spoilers (Duh! Of course) and not only for the 1. season but also the others, I haven't seen the 2. season so I've had to stop reading, but I plan on watching the show soon so I can continue on my giggling journey through the world of Sarah Lund. This book is a must have if you're a fan of the show and of having a good laugh!

About the Author
Rev. Mark Bosco, S.J., holds joint appointments in the Departments of English and Theology at Loyola University Chicago. He received his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Theology and Literature from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley. Dr. Bosco s teaching and research interests lie in the intersection between theological discourse and literary texts, especially those of the British and American Catholic Literary Revival of the twentieth century. He is the author of two books, including most recently Graham Greene s Catholic Imagination (Oxford University Press, 2005).

Dr. Kimberly Rae Connor is Associate Professor in the College of Professional Studies at the University of San Francisco. She received her Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia. Dr. Connor s academic interests focus on African American religious life and cultural production. She is the author of three books, including most recently Imagining Grace: Liberating Theologies in the Slave Narrative Tradition (University of Illinois Press, 2000).

Legendary knights such as Sir Gawain and the knights of the Round Table are briefly described, as is St. George and the dragon, and Gibbons also discusses present-day knights. The watercolor-and-ink pictures are some of Gibbons' liveliest and most attractive: there's plenty of fighting, decorative clothing and heraldry, and clear labels pointing out the parts of a castle and the names of the armor pieces. The Ladybug backpack was the hit of my 2 year old grand daughter's birthday party. It was just the rights size and so realistic looking. It appears to be well made and she was delighted!

Good info, but not a favorite book

This book is full of interesting facts, good illustrations but seems either too long with the additional stories of a few knights or too short because it touches on a few King Arthur knights but not all, seems to leave ya wanting more out of the book. It is more for kids that can read for themselves. I skip this book for bedtime stories as it is pretty dry and my son wants to read something else.
